The main European regulation governing the production, testing and installation of road restraint systems is BDS EN 1317. All products manufactured by the KMV Road Safety Systems have a certificate according to BDS EN 1317.
The use of elastic safety fences on the national road network is regulated by the Technical Specification of the Bulgarian Road Infrastructure Agency and the Technical Regulations for the Application of Restriction Systems on the Roads.
